How to sew the Slouchy Tote Bag

Looking for new sewing ideas to put a smile on your face this season? The Slouchy Tote Bag is a great project to start off with. This beginner friendly pattern is very quick to make that you could make a few in an hour. They are very stylish and great to carry along when going to get your groceries. Sew this easy pattern by following our free sewing guidelines below.

Materials needed:

  • 1 Yard of 60″ Wide Fabric – medium to heavy weight fabrics including drapery fabrics.
  • Or 1.5 Yards of 44″ Wide Fabric
  • 0.5 Yard Of Interfacing (Optional)
  • Iron
  • Pins
  • Scissors 
  • Optional Rotary Cutter & Mat
  • Measuring tape
