How to sew the DIY Oven Mitts

Oven Mitts are one of those things you just can’t live without. I have made lots of these over the past few years and I must really say they are worth it. You could sew lots of these in different colours and shapes as gifts or for use. They are so quick and easy to make, even beginners should have an easy time putting this piece together. Check out the free sewing guidelines below to get started!

Materials needed:

  • 1/2 yard 100% cotton fabric 
  • 1/2 yard Insul-Bright Insulated Batting
  • 1/2″ Double Fold Bias Tape
  • 1/2 yard Warm & Natural Cotton Batting OR 1/2 yard of fleece fabric
  • Good fabric scissors
