DIY Patchwork Zipper Pouch

Can we really have too many pouches? I mean, every member of the family has one or two, or even more. As school is in session, the kids have been using a lot of pouches. They love changing them often. We also wash our pouches often, so there has to be more than one per person. Pouches as also great as gifts because everyone uses them, as stated above. Materials needed:

- neutral fabric 
- 4 small scraps in various prints
- lining fabric
- 8" or longer zipper
- coordinating thread
- fusible fleece
- optional - zipper foot
- optional - suede or leather lacing or ribbon for zipper pull
