How to Make Potholders

These fun DIY potholders are a great way to add some whimsey to your fall decor. Use this free potholder pattern to make and give out some potholders as a gift or just because! Today I have a super easy free quilted potholder pattern for you. This is a quick and simple to sew and can be used with your favorite scrap fabrics at home. 

Materials needed

Please note, this is what you will need for ONE potholder.

  • Sewing Machine
  • Scissors
  • Iron and ironing board
  • (2) squares of 9″x 9″ fabric
  • (1) rectangle of 5″x2″ fabric
  • (2) squares of 9″x 9″ insulated, heat resistant batting.
