Curling Iron Sleeve

Hi there guys. Storing or traveling with hair appliances specifically our curling irons is always difficult. They are bulky and most of the time take up a lot of room, not to talk of the cords that would be flying around. But with this simple sewing project that can be made using basic sewing skills, you can learn to make cases for them which in turn takes up little amount of space as everything would be more organized which would make your packing a whole lot easier!

Materials needed:

• Fabric- one fat quarter will give you enough fabric, but you may want to use 2-3 prints for added interest.
• ½ Yard Cotton batting (or one piece at least 10″ x 14″): Do not use polyester, we want the heat buffering properties of cotton.
• InsulBright Piece at least 9″ x 14″
• Snap set or hook and loop tape for cord strap
