How to make a Mug Rug in 10 minutes

Hello guys. Are you ready to have some fun? Check out our latest DIY project, the Mug Rugs. It's very similar to the fabric coasters, the only difference is that this are made in a square/rug shape. They are so easy and quick to make that even a beginner could sew it in 10 minutes. How fast can you sew one of these up? To get started, check out the free pattern below.

Materials needed:

  • 4 5 1/2 inch squares of fabric for the front
  • 4 5 1/2 inch squares of fabric for the back
  • 4 5 1/2 inch squares of insulated batting
  • insulated batting
  • pins
  • sewing machine and needles
  • coordinating thread
