Make an Octagon Pincushion

It’s time to make another pincushion to add to our collection of pincushions. We have made pincushions in different shapes, sizes and textures. Today on our table we have this octagon pincushion that is so beautiful and it looks like a flower. Your pins and needles will have a lot of space and you can be rest assured that your crafting time or sewing time will be much more enjoyable. So friends, get those scrap fabrics and mix them however you want because they will produce something so beautiful.

Materials needed:

  • one 8 1/2 x 11” sheet of cardstock
  • templates
  • fabric scraps (at least 5 prints)
  • polyfill (or your favorite pincushion stuffing material)
  • fabric glue pen
  • good quality thread
  • perle cotton
  • short, sharp needle and long needle
