DIY Christmas Tree Ornament

Are you ready for Christmas? Well, I am almost fully ready for my favorite time of the year. Let’s DIY some Christmas tree ornaments to add to our collection of Christmas decorations. I am sure that by now we all should’ve had a lot of ornaments waiting to be used in decorating our Christmas trees. Maybe some of us already have our Christmas trees up and ready for the Christmas celebrations even. So friends, we’re going to be making these beautiful Christmas tree ornaments using two methods. The second method is much more easier to follow.

Materials needed:

  • scraps of soft felt for the '3D' tree, OR quilting-cotton weight fabric for the simplified, 'triangle' tree ornament
  • a small pompom
  • polyfill for the simple 'triangle' version
  • 7" - 10" embroidery thread or twine for hanging
  • matching thread, sewing machine, scissors, needle, (iron)
  • free template
