DIY Money Belt Pouch

Are you preparing to travel, operate a retail shop or have someone who loves early morning jogging? Then befriend me and let's make this DIY money belt that ensures safety of our hard earned money. It's easy and quick to make as you will discover in the tutorial below. So, what are we waiting for if not to keep our documents and money safe where no unwanted hands can get to them!

Materials needed:

  • 1/4″ yard oilcloth, canvas, twill, (umbrella fabric) or quilting cotton
  • 2 x nylon zipper 14″ long
  • 2 x nylon zipper 6″ long
  • Decorative elastic 
  • A yard of 1″ wide bias tape
  • Sewing machine
  • Thread
  • Zipper foot
  • Fabric pencil
