How to Make a Car Trash Bag

These adorable little car trash bags are the biggest sellers in the sewing market! I mean, who doesn’t need a beautiful bag to fill with trash! LOL! They are lined with a material that allows for quick wipe downs, but if they get too gross you can always throw them in the washing machine on cold and hang to dry!!! So, make sure you check out our free sewing tutorial so you can learn to make yourself one.

Materials needed:

  • 2 pieces of outer fabric that measure 10″ x 10″
  • 2 pieces of lining fabric that measure 10″ x 10″
  • 2 Pieces of medium weight interfacing like Pellon 808that measure 10″ x 10″
  • 1 piece of fabric that measures 3″ x 15″ for the strap
  • Standard sewing supplies
