How to Sew a Tutu Skirt

Hey, hey, it's ballet time so let's roll out the tutu!! This lovely tutu makes for a great outing and performance, don't you agree? You can make this yourself without breaking the bank, just by following the instructions in the tutorial. Happy ballerina time! Haha!

Materials needed:

  • 1 yard soft tulle
  • cotton/satin fabric – for the fabric-covered elastic waistband
  • satin ribbon/velvet/grosgrain trim (optional)
  • 1-inch wide elastic 
  • thread
  • scissors 
  • sewing pins
  • sewing gauge
