How To Sew A Maxi Dress

Oh, look what we have here before us today! It’s this beautiful maxi dress. Never had a maxi dress? Well, now is the perfect time to make one for yourself as the tutorial below provides the step by step process to making one. We can all agree that long dresses are comfy and allow for maximum movement. They are perfect for all body shapes and can be worn everywhere and anywhere!

Materials needed:

  • 3.5 yards of 60″ wide fabric with 30% or more horizontal stretch.
  • Matching Thread
  • Free Printable Pattern
  • Pins
  • Scissors
  • Optional Rotary Cutter & Mat
  • Measuring tape
  • Thread nippers
  • Sewing machine
