How to Sew a T-shirt Dress

Hi guys. Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes a big change in the temperature. Some of us live in cooler climates while some have to bear with the humid climate like me, plus I have been wondering what I want to wear this summer. It got me thinking about how versatile t-shirt dresses are, and so I decided to go with that. So our free sewing pattern right here teaches you how to make an exact replica of this T-shirt dress perfect for the summer.

Materials needed:

  • 1.5 Yards of 60″ Wide Fabric – Fabric with a minimum of 30% 2 way stretch examples are double brushed poly, cotton jersey, rayon spandex, cotton lycra. Note the heavier your fabric the more boxy will this dress be.
  • Iron
  • Pins
  • Scissors 
  • Optional Rotary Cutter & Mat
  • Measuring tape 
  • Thread nippers
  • Sewing machine
  • Matching Thread
  • Fabric marker
  • Free Pattern
