How to Make a Ruffled Bonnet

This Baby Bonnet with ruffles is a fantastic way to keep your baby’s head covered in every season! While the Summer Sun in my region is  sizzling, I have to make sure my baby's are well protected from the harsh rays of the sun and you should too, and I am here to help with that. Simply follow the easy tutorial and be able to make your baby's their own perfect little Sun Hats.

Materials needed:

  • Medium-weight cotton fabric for the bonnet body, ruffles, and ties- 1/3 yard (you can use your leftover fabric scraps or fat quarters).
  • Medium-weight cotton fabric in a different color or print for the bonnet lining- same as above.
  • 3/8 -inch elastic- requirement specified in table- 2 below.
  • Sewing Notions.
