Super Cute Laminated Cotton Shower Cap

Hey girls, ok and boys too. Let's cover up as we enter the shower with this comfortable, functional and safe laminated cotton shower cap. The inner cotton guards against excessive heat while the laminated surface ensures dryness and protection against water, thus living up to its billing as a shower cap. Grab this tutorial and get a lovely DIY experience right now. 

Materials needed:

  • Outer fabric (in laminate) -23” square
  • Inner fabric (in cotton or similar) – 23” square
  • Binding – at least 68” long bias binding. We made double fold 1/2” wide bias binding using lining fabric. It is not recommended to do the binding in the laminate.
  • 1/4″ wide elastic at least as long as the measurement around your head + 2 inches.
