Learn How to Sew a Drawstring Bagpack

Howdy mates. Looking for something simple and light weight to carry all your important items? Don't worry, we have got you covered. We have for you today the Drawstring Bagpack, easy to make and very versatile in different areas. They also make great gifts for your friends and family. Sooo.... let's get started, it took me an hour to sew one. How long will you take?

Materials needed:

  • fabric – 1/3 yard cotton or polyester
  • cording – 4 yards
  • matching thread thread
  • our downloadable drawstring backpack pattern /link below/
  • scissors (or rotary cutter and a cutting mat)
  • ruler or measuring tape
