How to Make a Drawstring Gift Bag

It’s time to start Christmas crafting guys! These sweet, reusable fabric gift bags are just the ticket for adding some homemade thoughtfulness to a simple gift. I love how the cute little detail on the string adds a touch of shiny glam to this easy sewing project. And also with this,  there would be no need for wrappings that head straight to the dump after the Holidays, these cute little gift bags can get reused year after year till you decide to change them!

Materials needed:

  • 1 pc fabric 14″ x 11″
  • ribbon – approx 28″ for this size bag.
  • Creative Grids Ruler 8½” x 24½” 
  • Olfa 24″ x 36″ double-sided healing mat
  • Quilters slidelock
  • Olfa 60mm rotary cutter
  • Oliso Iron
  • FriXion Pens
