How to Sew a Drawstring Laundry Bag

Hello to you all out there. Make your own laundry bag yourself and guess what, our tutorial today includes a drawstring on the bag, making it more secure and neater. I share this tutorial below, so all you need do is open it and follow the instructions step by step to make your own perfect drawstring laundry bag to keep your home litter free and orderly!

Materials needed:

  • Patterned utility fabric, 28 inches by 40 inches, 2 pieces
  • Medium-weight muslin lining, 28 inches by 40 inches, 2 pieces
  • Fabric scissors
  • Steam iron
  • Straight pins (optional)
  • Sewing machine
  • Coordinating spool of sewing thread
  • Jute rope, 72 inches or 2 yards
